A Few Memory Foam Mattress Questions?
I just purchased a 5 zone memory foam mattress topper and I have a few questions since it didn't come with any paperwork to help me out. First off what side do I put it on? There's one side with a bunch of different shapes and patterns and the other side is completely flat. Also is it OK to put sheets over the mattress topper, or are you supposed to put it on with no sheets over it? Lastly how long does it take before you notice results? I used the mattress, but I didn't notice any more comfort than my spring mattress.
probably the flat side goes against a flat surface (like the mattress itself). sheets? and yes, you are supposed to cover it with a sheet,otherwise it would be very uncomfortable to sleep on. Sleeping on top of a foam topper would not feel good against the skin.
how long does it take? Well, since it's a memory foam, that would probably depend on whether it was suffering from either short- or long-term memory loss... Your answer makes it sound like you used the topper INSTEAD of the mattress, for a sleep surface. You are supposed to put the topper ATOP the mattress. Did you?
